Legal Notice (Imprint)

Who operates Vellux and how to reach us.

Last updated: 15 July 2026

This Legal Notice identifies the provider of the Vellux service (vellux.ai) in accordance with Article 3(1)(s) of the Swiss Federal Act against Unfair Competition (UWG), together with the transparency requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the EU Digital Services Act.

1. Provider identity

Vellux is operated by:

Dennis Müller c/o Anibarro, Unit #152 Route de Saint-Cergue 24Bis 1260 Nyon Switzerland

The operator is a private individual domiciled in Switzerland ("Vellux", "we", "us", "the operator"). Where the operator is later incorporated, the registered company name and commercial-register number will replace the individual's name in this notice without other changes to the terms of service.

  • Country of establishment: Switzerland
  • Legal form: private individual (sole operator)
  • VAT registration number: none — the operator is not currently registered for Swiss VAT

2. Contact

You can reach a monitored inbox at the addresses below. These are staffed mailboxes, not automated contact forms:

We do not operate a telephone support line. Written enquiries by email receive a response within a reasonable time.

3. Service description

Vellux is an AI image- and video-generation platform available at vellux.ai. Registered users select an AI generator, write prompts, optionally upload reference material, and receive AI-generated Outputs into a private, per-account gallery. The platform also offers an in-app AI agent, automations, an image editor, and the ability to train custom "character" likeness models. Full descriptions of the service, its rules, and its commercial terms are set out in the documents linked in section 9.

4. Responsibility for content

Responsibility for the editorial content of the vellux.ai pages published by the operator (this Legal Notice and the sister documents in section 9) lies with the operator named in section 1.

User-supplied Content and AI-generated Outputs are the responsibility of the User who created or uploaded them, as set out in the Terms of Service and the Content Policy. The operator does not exercise prior editorial review of private-gallery Content and acts on notice; see the Complaints, Reports & Takedowns procedure.

5. Regulatory details

Supervisory authorities. The operator's lead data-protection supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Data subjects in the EU may also contact their national supervisory authority; details are in the Privacy Policy.

Points of contact. The electronic points of contact for authorities and for service recipients, and the notice-and-action mechanism, are set out in the Complaints, Reports & Takedowns document; the address for such matters is [email protected].

6. Merchant of record and governing law

Payment features are planned and will be activated through a payment provider. Depending on the final setup, the merchant of record for purchases made on vellux.ai — prepaid Credits and any premium subscription — will be either the operator named in section 1 or a specialist payment provider or distribution platform acting as reseller. The seller of record and the billing descriptor are identified at checkout and in the order confirmation for every purchase, and this notice will be updated to name the provider once payments are live. The commercial terms are in the Refund Policy.

These pages and the operator's relationship with Users are governed by Swiss substantive law, with the courts at the operator's Swiss domicile as the baseline forum. Consumers retain the mandatory consumer-protection rights and home-country courts available to them under their local law. The full clause, including the EU consumer carve-out, is in the Terms of Service.

7. Hosting and technical operation

  • Application hosting: OVHcloud (OVH SAS), on infrastructure located in the United Kingdom.
  • Content delivery and DNS: Cloudflare, Inc. (US), which provides the CDN and reverse-proxy layer for vellux.ai.
  • Object storage: Cloudflare R2 (Cloudflare, Inc.), a private bucket accessed only through short-lived presigned URLs.

Generation workloads and certain features rely on further third-party processors (GPU providers and hosted-model APIs). These are enumerated, with their roles and locations, in the Privacy Policy.

8. External links

The vellux.ai pages may contain links to third-party websites over whose content the operator has no control. The operator is not responsible for the content of any linked external site; responsibility for such content rests with its respective provider or operator.
